What brand of paint do you use?

Question:

What brand of paint do you use?

Answer:

I purchase paint products from various paint manufacturers for very specific applications. For example: my favorite general trim paint comes from one manufacturer and my favorite wall paints come from others. My flat paint comes from one paint store and my eggshell wall paint comes from another. I tend to have 1 or 2 favorite paint products from each paint manufacturer in my area.

    Hi Todd, We are constantly changing products as paint formulations continue to change. This Question was posted some time ago, but today we are using a mixed blend of BEHR ULTRA Satin/Semi-gloss mixed 1:1 or Glidden Professional Diamond 350 Eggshell/Semi-gloss, again, 1:1 mix.

    Have a look at the finish of Glidden 350.

    Jack,

    I have been reading many of your articles which have been very informative, thanks. I do have a question on the paint brand though. I am currently looking at Benjamin Moore eggshell finish for our house. What is your opinion on this brand and finish?

      Aaron. Benjamin Moore makes several products in the eggshell sheen. They are not equal.
